STATEMENT CONCERNING LOCAL WESTERN AUTO STORES
Shortly after our split from Western Auto Supply Company, Advance Auto Parts
purchased & liquidated The Western Auto Supply Company in America.
Advance Auto Parts discontinued the stateside local stores in 2003. Stateside local
stores were ordered to take down the Western Auto sign by the end of 2004, however
many did not comply.
Any remaining stateside local stores are using the Western Auto name without an
agreement and are operating independently.
Advance Auto Parts still operates Western Auto Stores in Puerto Rico. We have no
connection with Advance Auto parts NOR with these PR stores.
Since we have no connection with the rogue stateside local Western Auto Stores nor
the Advance Auto Parts Puerto Rico stores, any email requests, hard copy letters, or
voicemails concerning a Western Auto Store will not be returned.
